Christ The King High School Inks Extension with Nike, Metro Team Sports

Queens, NY – Christ the King High School has announced a multi-year extension of their partnership with Nike through Metro Team Sports. The agreement will keep the Royals in Nike uniforms, training apparel and footwear while continuing a 15+ year relationship with Metro Team Sports as the official outfitter of Christ the King athletics.

Christ the King offers 15 sports that yield over 25 teams, competing in New York’s Catholic High School Athletic Association. “We have a proven formula for success for our teams at Christ the King and look forward to continuing our relationship with the great people at Metro Team and Nike”, said Bob Mackey, Christ the King Athletic Director. Along with the regional success of Christ the King’s many sports programs, the Girls and Boys basketball programs annually compete at the National level, with many notable alumni continuing their careers at the collegiate and professional levels. CTK is also one of few “Team Lebron James” Nike schools in the nation.

“For years Christ the King has held a special place in our hearts at Metro Team” said Bob Trivisonno, President at Metro Team Sports. “Their commitment to their student-athletes and passion for representing New York sports excellence makes every season more exciting than the last. We’re happy to have a role in building the future of Christ the King athletics.” Principal Joseph Arbitello added “Metro Team and Nike have been part of the Royal Family for the last 15 years.
