Athletic programs across the country have been in limbo as we continue to plan around and react to the effects that COVID-19 has had on our everyday lives. As everyone does their best to plan for hopeful days ahead, athletic directors at both the high school and collegiate levels find themselves with shorter timelines and fewer options for outfitting their athletes for the inevitable return to play. Today we’ll focus on some stock football uniform options that are available in a multitude of color combinations and can be delivered relatively quickly.

Under Armour
The UA Armourgrid Jersey uses the same technology that their higher-end custom uniforms feature, with rip-stop material on the front and back of jersey to prevent rips and tears. A positive side-effect of the material is the difficulty in grabbing the body of the jersey, providing the same competitive advantage that UA’s top collegiate programs enjoy.

Along the same lines as UA, Adidas has taken one of their top-tier custom options and created a stock version for programs without big budgets and minimal lead-time to spare. The WVN A1 Jersey and WNV A1 Pant feature the same fabric and construction as it’s custom counterpart with a bevy of color options and a much smaller price tag.
Adidas was the first to put a truly form-fitting uniform on football players with the introduction of their “techfit” technology six years ago. The trend is here to stay, and the WVN A1 Jersey and Pant features a 4-way stretch woven fabrication with mobility-driven stretch mesh panels to deliver that close-to-the-body, secure feeling throughout the entire set.
A twill/embroidery combination will always be the more durable decoration style, but a less-expensive screen print could also be done on these to help save a few extra dollars on the set.
