Locust Valley, NY – Portledge School has entered into a multi-year partnership with Under Armour through Metro Team Sports, making Under Armour the official apparel brand of the Panthers. 32 teams participating in 18+ sports and activities will compete and train in Under Armour apparel, uniforms and footwear. Metro Team Sports will also serve as the official equipment provider.

Along with upgrading Portledge’s competition-wear, training apparel and equipment, new Athletic Director Carmine Giovino aims to reinvigorate the program and revamp the school’s athletic identity both on campus and away from home. “I have worked with Metro Team Sports for years at my previous school. I have always been impressed with their professionalism, support, and product development” said Giovino, who brings with him to Portledge School multiple years of athletic administration experience. “When I moved schools, it was a no-brainer to form a relationship with them at my new school. Metro Team is essential to us for fulfilling my goal of creating an athletic program that teaches teamwork, sacrifice, winning with class, and learning from a loss.”

Over 500 students of all ages, ranging from Pre-nursery through Grade 12, populate Portledge School’s grounds. The school’s sprawling campus is also home to several multi-sport fields, tennis courts, multiple gymnasiums, a baseball field and a brand new softball field.
